Alleged health condition

Hi all, I hope that someone can shed some light on this one. I am currently in the process of claiming back the ppi on my loans from Lloyds TSB. I also have another query with them regarding an alleged health condition, a condition that I am not and have never been aware of. I came across it while I was sifting through my bank papers. It says "You told me that you have a health condition. You are aware that you may not be provided with cover in respect of this condition if it occurs again within 12 months of the date that you sign your Loan Agreement".
I have now sent them three letters regarding my ppi claim and each time I have also queried the alleged health condition, but as yet the query hasn't even been acknowledged, its as though I haven't asked the question.
So before sending a fourth letter I thought Id just see if anyone on here has any views, as I find it a little strange to have had no response.:(
Regards,sedgit.

Hi and welcome
How long ago did you write to them?
They currently have 12 weeks, but should have confirmed your complaint by letter within a week or 2.
Sorry if I have mis-read, are you saying that they are stating you had an health condition, but have not?
There is also an email contact, if you've not tried by emailing them yet, try this below, good luck.

Hi di3004, thanks for the reply. Yep,thats right, they are saying (in some of the original paperwork) that I had a health condition but it's news to me as I have never had one.
I received a letter confirming that they are investigating my ppi complaint about four weeks ago but still no mention of my health condition.0 -
Maybe ask them for a copy of your application form for the insurance? Any "health conditions" you did have should have been disclosed on there, so maybe a box got ticked by mistake.
I don't know much about insurance, but I'd like to see an insurance company try to explain to FOS why it's fair and reasonable to rely on an exclusion about "a health condition"! Something drafted that widely strikes me as pretty meaningless.0 -
Although it says this on the paperwork, it doesnt matter and doesnt mean its mis-sold. If you had no health condition then thats better then, as there would be no exclusion but it was disclosed anyway.0

So if I was to be off work with this health condition, ie. VISACARDITIS (The heart-stopping sensation brought on by exceeding your credit limit.) or HYPOCOINDRIA (Fear of not having correct change.) then I would not get my loan payments paid by the insurance. (sorry about the bad jokes)
My point being, I would like to know what this health condition is,even though I never reported one, but they have not as yet acknowledged my inquiry even after I have sent two copies of the document to them.0
