BT fault

My BT line has fault on them since yesterday which is down to BT and they are going to fix it on Wednesday. I use my line for O2 broadband so I have no internet now until the line is fix.
I went and brought a dongle today because I am not prepared to wait until Wednesday or longer to get back online.
I can claim my back all the costs that I have incur from BT as the fault is down to them.
Please be nice with the comments.

HIGHLY unlikely that BT will entertain a claim for "consequential losses"0

Well must be due some comp from BT because the fault is their on their side.0

BT wont pay any compensation for your broadband loss as they don't supply it.
Should've asked O2 before spending out on a dongle what they suggest.
The fix is in line with BT termsto repair a service failure in line with the repair service you have chosen, normally this means by midnight on the third weekday (not including public and bank holidays) after the day you report the fault to us unless a specific appointment date is agreed. We will treat a fault reported after 9pm on a weekday, or anytime at weekends or on public or bank holidays, as if you reported the fault at 8am on the next weekday after the day you reported the fault to us.0 -

Yeah I should call them before because they offered to send a dongle for free.
The dongle that I brought is from Three not 02 but never mind I will make use of both of them because I going have no 02 broadband for about 2 weeks.0 -
The most you can expect from BT is a credit for the few days of downtime, if you ask them. No service level agreement exists on a residential contract. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
