Otr and Vat

Hi

I'm planning to for a new card and I'm bit confused with the price that shows on the website

on the skoda website it says the price of the car is £14500 OTR does this include VAT or not please advise.

    No idea.

    Perhaps you could tell us which card (sp) you are planning to buy, or maybe even provide a link to the webpage you are querying.

    OTR = On the Road = nothing else to pay = VAT inclusive.

    OTR means what it says - On the road. Includes VAT and first registration fee, road tax etc. Probably about a pint of fuel in the tank though!

    Thanks for clearing the confusing, none of the car manufacturers are not mentioning anything about VAT thats what I'm worried about.

    VAT is not reclaimable on cars (except in limited circumstances where they are for 100% business use), so there is no point mentioning VAT separately. It will always be included.
