A few months ago I used Liz Earle cleanse and polish and the moisturiser and my skin has never felt better. However, I got fed up of the muslin cloths, washing them out and leaving them drying in the bathroom so I gave up on it and went back to using face wipes and a cheaper moisturiser as I wondered if £17 for the LE moisturiser was expensive but now when I look around Boots and see that some Olay and No7 moisturisers are over £20 it doesn't seem too bad.
Does anyone else get put off LE with the faff with the muslin cloths? I can't deny though the stuff did improve my skin when I used it.

I love the C&P and using the muslin cloths doesn't bother me. Most days I use C&P with my Tresonics system http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.432648.cm_scid.cswb/walk.html.%7Cukhtml%7CCor_uk_MyAcct,html
for a little more exfoliation, then wipe off with the cloth.0 -
Other brands do the same type of cleanser cheaper. Soap and Glory, Boots No7 and Santuary too. Liz Earle prices have gone up twice in the one year and the brand is now owned by Avon and they have their own version as well.
I use Eve Lom and the muslin cloth thing never bothered me.0 -
Liz Earle is NOT owned by Avon, not sure where you heard that.:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0

I use Superdrug's Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser, excellent and only £2.99, just ordered 5 online

The cloths don't bother me at all and I just chuck them in the wash.0 -
I used to love Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish until she changed the formula and it stopped working for me. Since then I have been on the hunt for a good alternative and think I've finally found it in TBS Aloe Vera Cleanser. Versions I tried were: Soap and Glory Fab Pore, Tesco B range, Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser, Decleor, Elemis Melting Gell, Elemis original cleanser and Weleda Almond cleanser. With all these I have continued to use the muslin cloths as I find them really effective.
My daughter was still using C&P but I think I've managed to convert her to the Superdrug Vitamin E version which I'm also going to try once I've finished the TBS one. I'll be using this when we go away at the end of this month as well as I've decanted some off into a travel bottle for us.
I do still love the moisturiser which I used as a night cream and will return to using this.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Another vote for the Superdrug Vit E cleanser here. I tried it after seeing another post on here and now I actually prefer it to the Liz Earle C & P. I am still using the LE moisturiser, it is the only moisturiser I have ever used which doesn't irritate my skin. Citygirl1 is right, compared to a lot of other products, the LE moisturiser isn't that pricey. I have started using the Liz Earle concentrate at night instead of the moisturiser and it is fantastic, unfortunately, that is expensive but it does mean using less moisturiser.
I don't find the cloths a faff either.0 -

Here is the proof, Avon bought Liz Earle over a year ago. Liz tried to play it down by saying it was a partnership when infact Avon bought the whole company as it turned out.

I use the Sanctuary cleanser and I prefer it to Liz Earle - cheaper (with £5 off voucher) I think it works better for my dry skin.
I don't find the cloths a faff either. I have 8 of them so I only use them once and stick them in the wash at the end of the week.0 -
I'm a big Lush fan and I got a sample of Ultrabland cleanser which is similar to Cleanse and Polish but cheaper and more natural
