Hello
People who are on DLA, or on ESA, can they get free gym equipment?
Disabled Facilities Grants?

Occupational Therapy may provide any equipment needed for rehabilitation, but if you just want it to keep/ get fit you will have to buy it yourself.0

Hi
Don't know about being given free equipment, but my husband was given membership to a local gym at a very reduced price because he recieves DLA. He is able to go as often as he likes, at any time and has had a personal trainer to go over the equipment with him and a follow up with the trainer.
Could be worth speaking to your local leisure centre/gym

Good point - some areas also have GP Exercise Referral Schemes, where you can use the gym/ various classes for free.0
