Well will leave that little job in your very capable hands alyth! :rotfl:
Glad to hear of your good news, love to hear about others spending OH's dosh, am a bit of an expert in that department myself!
Hope the decorating went well, if you had the time with your car being sick - and hope it's better now.0 -
it was quite scary with the car, it's a n reg tiny little car, had to have 4 new tyres, and one of which was one of the originals - I didn't know tyres only lasted 4 years, it was quite a heartstopping moment when the guy told me that, even worse was when he started on about how I could have killed someone if the tyre had blown...... so £150 later the roads of Perthshire are now safe!
Isn't that the point of OHs..... they earn, you clean, you spend, or is that just perhaps my typical Friday night - I should have come with you to the Brewers Fayre last weekend!0 -

Woops...about your tyres! You never warned me about you driving on the roads with them when we came through! :rotfl: Seriously, a blow out is nasty. Borrowed MIL's mini many years ago and had blow out, we ended up in verge facing way we had come. Later inspection - embankment & a huge drop down to the rail track. What was supposed to be a cheap holiday, we spent on new tyres for her car....still we all all here to tell the tale, so a good investment!
Anyway, glad that you're all safe now.
You would have been more than welcome to join us at the Brewers Fayre. Boring as we were, being so tired - anything is better than cleaning and ironing!
