My Tesco sell 2l of semi-skimmed Fresh&Lo for 89p so that's what I buy. They also have the Cravendale SS at £1.00 per 4 pints/2.27 litres, which is more or less the same. My corner shop sells 4pts of the local dairy milk for £1.10. No way will I pay £1.25 for 4 pts.
My pregnancy craving was for M&S Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, btw. No other brand would do and the nearest M&S was a 20 minute bus ride away. I would drink a one litre bottle on the bus and try to make the other one last till the next day as we were skint and the OJ was costing me a fiver a fix, including the bus fare. Milk would have been a lot more affordable!Val.0
