DPD "left in a safe place" card

Sorry didnt know where to put this

Had a card through the door today, DPD, sorry we missed you, left in a safe place, but no address, date, just says "left with mr lewis at the back of you".
Ive gone down the street at the back of me knocking doors and theres no mr lewis, tried the street oppposite at the front too, and you cannot get through to a person on DPD telephone lines without an 8 digit card number which is apparently in the top left corner of the card, but there isnt one?
Really dont know what to do? Im not expecting anything but i do enter competitions and i know sometimes things just arrive without a WEM OR phonecall.
Any ideas?

Thanks , yes think ill just have to wait until monday, the suspense is killing me though lol, have never won anything before, am hoping its a win

Is there an 8 digit number at the bottom of the card in the middle? Thats the calling card number and that is what they will ask for (or a consignment number) I think they have changed the card design but not the instructions.

I dont neccesserily think ive won something but as Im not expecting anything ive ordered for example its a bit of wishful thinking

DPD is 0845 i think but i got that number from the website not the card so...

I did try putting that in (dropping the first then last number as it was 9 digits not 10) and that didnt work, said number not recognised. Im stumped! Havent been able to try any other numbers today as been in work all day, trying to find a different number now that doesnt ask for this 8 digit number

ring your nearest DPD depot, they should be able to advise. or they can speak to the driver who normally covers your area.

Thanks, will try that tomorrow as ive got to dash now! Please say DPD have a way of covering the possible situation that "mr lewis" never surfaces??
