MSE & Tesco branch names!

I have mentioned this in a few Tesco threads but with little success. Perhaps someone can please explain why on every Tesco thread not just the glitches people are constantly making the store names unsearchable. Not only that it does not make easy reading. Tesco know they are reducing their prices for clearance so I think it unlikely they will want to search the threads.

Am I the only one who wants to SCREAM!!!:o

People are paranoid/ stupid and don't realise that Tesco can work out what their little codes mean!

I think they mean where someone writes C@nterbury or the like to stop it being picked up by the search filter.

I don't get it either as surely the till staff are alerted that there is a glitch when they scan something and it is at a silly price? Or do all the glitch finders use self scan tills? I know when I worked in retail, if I'd have noticed a high value item going through at a silly price I would have told management to check it was right, it does make me wonder if the glitches are intentional.

Always happy to grab a price glitch bargain, however there are more times than none, that I suspect it is part of a subliminal advertisement to sell off surplus stock. Good idea if it is, as the words "Bargain" and "Price glitch" will certainly reel em in.

I don't get it either, surely it would be better to use T*sco so they cannot search for it? Other people put place names on the site all the time.

The irony being, all they have to do is look on the grabbit board - if I can see the thread, surely HO at Tesco can.

It's all a little bizarre to be honest.
