Need Chester Hotel 22nd January 1 person 1 night

I'm on a training course on Monday and Tuesday in Chester but don't want to travel the 200+ mile round trip Monday evening to come back again Tuesday, call me lazy but I hate driving combined with getting up at a ridiculous hour to be there for 9am and before anyone suggests it, I live in the middle of nowhere, not on a bus route or train route, otherwise I would have considered it!
Work are not paying for accommodation so I need a cheapie hotel for one for one night. Shame the travelodge £15 offer isn't on.
Does anyone have any codes or offers please for somewhere not to far from the racecourse.
Thanks in advance.
Rachel

Have a look on Tripadvisor and see if anyone has done a writeup on any hotels in the area. Start by doing a search for hotels near the postcode of your training location and then search on trip advisor for the hotel name.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
