Ask the person who is paying the main bill what he or she is paying per Kwh this is on there bill.
then look at your meter If it's marked ft3 it is an IMPERIAL meter which delivers appx 31.5Kwh per unit
So say they are being charged 3.5p per Kwh on there bill
you would do it like this 31.5x 3.5p=£1.10 + 5% vat = £1.15 per unit so you would set your meter at just under 1 unit to the £1 coin.
If it marked m3 on the front it is a METRIC meter and delivers appx. 11.2 Kwh of Gas for each meter unit
11.2X 3.5p=£0.392p + 5%= £0.41 per unit so you would set your meter at just under 2.5 units to the £1 coin.
Hope this helps0 -
it will be imperial as it will be an old coin meter.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
