mp3 joiner/cutter - freeware??

anyone know of a good one, there are loads on google, but they all have trial and then buy options. the trial versions have too many limitations.

anyone use this and can recommend one??

For something more comprehensive try the free Audacity - handles some other audio files as well. Get the required MP3 encoder plugin from here. G

Another vote for Audacity.

I use it to cut songs down to use as ringtones on my mobile and also for recording my guitar playing.

For a free program it is very easy to use and very competent.
