Have noticed in my list of programs that one has appeared called 'Bonjour'.
The only program that I have downloaded recently is a newer version of Adobe Reader. Is this something to do with this.Am a bit concerned as OH(who is definitely not computer savvie) has been looking at things on Ebay. Could he have downloaded this ? Does anyone know anything about this program. Have looked on Google and its to do with Zero Configuration Networking !!!!( I am not very computer savvie, but more so than OH ).

I wouldnt worry.
I suspect Apple have bundled their Bonjour software with Adobe reader, probably for upgrade lookup or some network sharing feature.0
