How do i get my money back from the seller

I asked a seller to cancel a item i payed for and they excepted but they said they didn't know how to send the request when i asked, so i went and contacted ebay and i was told how to do it so i sent the information to the seller and they sent me the request, so when i excepted the request i thought i would get my money back.
So how do i go about getting my money back without me or the seller losing any money.

Seller needs to refund your original paypal payment.

Also whilst I don't think language is something that needs picking up on (my own is appalling sometimes) your use of the word 'excepted' could mean that you refused the cancellation in which case a refund would not be due. If however it is a typo for 'accepted' then my advice about seller refunding is correct.
