No NSD for me, I ran the 5 mile Badminton Horseless Team race today, so had entrance fee, petrol to mate and pub lunch on the way home. But we raised over £300 between us, half which will go to South Gloucestershire Rotary Club and half to my local preschool (which my daughter goes to and is perennially short of funds)

So a good (if very hot for running!) day even though not NSD :-)

Hi everyone - just keeping with the Pooh theme!

No NSD to report I'm afraid, it will be a slow start for me I fear! Spent £3.97 today on toastabags, as I'm a wee bit fed up with sarnies for lunch. I got that new flat bread from Warbu£tons - makes excellent toasties!

Went to WW yesterday, I'm still on my diet - I stuck to it throughout my hols and I lost another 1 and 1/2 lbs - 16 off now! I am pretty focussed and determined!;) Treated myself to a hanging basket from Morri$ons for achieving a loss after my hols ( only a fiver for a lovely one filled with winter violas)

Anyhoo, that's enough rambling from me, have a lovely day everyone:)

Well done on the weight loss Jinty...really need to get back onto the wagon myself...been pretty lax over the summer.

Been out and about looking at cars today...even popped over the border to Wales!! Have sort of decided which kind of car we fancy, so now need to arrange a test drive, to see what I think of how it drives.

I packed some cheese & tom sandwiches, water and a couple of courgette muffins, so w
e managed to spend nothing, making today NSD no 2 !! :j

Spending tomorrow though...running out of milk & veg again :o

Spoon - DS2 seems to be coping pretty well with his busted wrist, he hardly needs to take any painkillers now, so it is looking promising for a reasonably speedy recovery.

  • First things first, I'm going for 15 NSDs again this month.

Now to get to the chat! Hi everyone. I hope you're all well and getting lots of NSDs. I'm going to try and keep up with the thread this month and with what everyone's up to. I missed it last month but I was just too busy to keep reading everything. Unfortunately I already know this month is going to be even busier than last, especially at work :(

I'm a bit disappointed already that it's the 2nd of the month and I haven't had a NSD yet, especially as it's the weekend so I haven't got direct debits as an excuse. Yesterday I met my Mum & Grandma in town & as my Mum bought lunch I thought I'd better pay for the drinks later on. I don't begrudge spending on them but I'm disappointed I missed a NSD! Today I went to pick up something for my Mum in Mr T's so I wasn't going to class it as a spend but then I got carried away looking at whoopsied stuff so ended up spending on things for myself so I can't class it as a NSD. I've got to be careful I'm getting addicted to looking for whoopsied items & am buying food even though I've got enough food in my kitchen to feed everyone on here for a month!! I just love getting a bargain.

Oops, I've started waffling again so now I'll leave you all in peace & wish you all a great month of NSDs.

It's horrible here too Beanielou:(, been raining since Sat morning ... cold and foggy too ....

Anyway, No 1 today so off the mark!

Have started a new spending diary (using a 2010 diary I didn't use - days will be wrong but it'll be fine for the dates) as I've been a bit lax about this recently:mad: (I misplaced the 2011 diary I was using for this, thought I'd find it and haven't).
