    Afternoon all!

Well it has been a dramatic day!
Got up early, went to A$da first thing then to weigh-in. Lost another 1.5lb today!
Driving home after meeting when an old guy decided to pull out an do a U-turn right in front of me, and I crashed head-on into him. I am ok apart from being really shaken up and I have a sore back and hip. The car is a mess. Grrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad::mad:

Ohhhh Jinty, really glad you're OK and hope you'll not be too sore in the morning. Well done on the weight loss:j
Iggy hasn't turned up yet :( I've done a leaflet drop on my street and te street which backs on to ours and also put a poster in the local vets window..

Ohhhh LMH (((hugs))) they're such a worry .... sending vibes to Iggy to tell him to go home

  • Chemist's order arrived today thank goodness & they've refunded the extra amount I'd paid for next day delivery so I guess that's something.

Replacement cat carrier is on it's way - it better be "a good one" or there will be trouble!

So, another NSD today bringing me to No 16:j- I think that's the most I've ever managed as I'm usually frantically trying to get the last one or two in the last couple of days of the month!:D

    Drum roll please....

I got NSD number 10 yesterday!

    :j:j:j

Not made my target in a looooooooong time so v v happy about that!

Now, fingers crossed today might even be number 11... :A

Oh yes, and I worked out what I'd done wrong on the website, so I got my results, came out with a merit so I'm pleased with that (although the perfectionist in me is slightly disappointed it isn't a distinction, as it wasn't far off...). Mr Lotti really splashed out and bought a bottle of bollinger as a "well done" present! Silly extravagant man... :D

:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j Woo hoo Lotti, well done!!

Have spent the last two hours on the phone to insurance and waiting for courtesy car ( which is rather nice, BTW). Although it wasnt my fault, I am totally p...d off! Had to stump up £50 as a fuel deposit for the "courtesy" car, which we'll get back when we hand the car back, but an unexpected outlay none theless!

I am off for a lie down with my book and a cuppa as I must compose myself in time for John B tonight.
Mum and I are going to postpone going to Craft show tomorrow, we may go on Sunday instead.

Anyhoo, that's enough of me chuntering on, will update tomorrow.

    Have a lovely day all!:):)

Oh Jinty, what an awful thing to happen (((((((((((((((big hugs))))))))))
I do hope you don't ache too much, & hope JB is absolutely fab!!

Iggy hasn't turned up yet :( I've done a leaflet drop on my street and te street which backs on to ours and also put a poster in the local vets window..

Went to get my hair done today (so no NSD....again) and on the way back the front of my exhaust fell off! So I drove home the last 10 minutes sounding like a boy racer with the front clanging on the road making more noise and generally feeling a mixture of mortification that I was being so noisy and worry that my car would explode or something :o

Anyway, we had other stuff planned to do today but now it's a stay at home and chill out day :) Saying that I promised I would take DD to the shop for a magazine as we need to take the dog for a walk and check my sisters house for post so will be out again in a bit...

Honestly, I could go on but I've already waffled loads (again) so will be back tonight with an update and no moaning!

ETA - thank you so much for all the well wishes and vibes :) It is making me feel much more positive xxx

(((((((((((((((((big hugs)))))))))))))) LMH, i'm keeping everything crossed that Iggy makes it home safe & sound very soon.... & so sorry to hear about the car drama's, but very glad you made it home ok!!

  • Well another 2 for me, so that takes me up to 14 & 2nd target met please Spoon :j:j

Not going to up it again, but reckon i can probably sneak a couple more in before the end of the month!!

Quite chuffed tonight as i discovered there was a bit of room on my 0% balance transfer card & that i could still do balance transfers at 0%, so that's helped massively in dealing with the money i had to spend to do the house up, that i can't pay back until the rent starts coming in, it'll be tight, but this months money will stretch now (not even going to worry about next month yet :D)

Might just have a hot choc with marshmallows to celebrate!! :D

    Good morning all!

First off: a huge th_smiley-thankyou.gif for all your kind wishes. I am feeling really quite achy this morning, so I am going to take it easy and have a day pottering around. My sis is coming at lunchtime so I will make some soup for lunch I think.

LMH - hope puss turns up today - what a worry it is when they do that! If it's any consolation, my old cat once went missing for 3 months! I had given up all hope of getting him back and had even got another cat when one night I heard a scratch at the door and in he walked as if nothing had changed! Still a mystery to this day!;)

Well, John Barrowman was absolutely fan-blummin-tastic! Just what I needed to cheer me up! He is a fab entertainer, just great!:j

So, thats all my news today, I am going to go out for a drive later, to get the feel of a different car, hoping NOT to spend anything!
