    NSD 6 for me:)

Been a really hectic day at work and i am left feeling exhausted and emotional but still avoided the impluse to pop to the shops. Even my youngest son reminded me that today was set as a NSD day:rotfl:

littlemisshappy i am hoping it won't cost too much, its booked in for Friday so I will know more then.

Freshair Hugs to your friend. I hope she is ok, its awful when something like that happens especially in a place you feel safe:(

wannabehermit my fingers are crossed for you, i hope you get the job.

risingfrom the ashes i have been watching your Lakeland battle with a huge smile on my face, i love lakeland but rarely ever shop there, mainly because i leave the shop a lot poorer:D I think i may have a quick peek at the website . . . . . . . . only to get ideas for my christmas list of course:D

Well done to all you NSDers.

    And hello to:

rising from the ashes - like QueenB. I’m chuckling at your struggles to avoid spending in L@keland.. I love that shop and could spend a fortune... unfortunately for me we have an actual shop near us and severe restraint is called for every time I go to Tatco....
I agree though, it’s much better to get what you actually want rather than a temporary substitute and their stuff does last for ages

freshair - I’m really sorry about your friend, what an awful thing to happen, hope she’s OK x

LittleMissHappy - happy shopping - I refuse to mention that word in October

jaffacakegal - well done for sticking to your list today, I’m impressed

Butti - wow.. bargain toothpaste indeed!!

iwanttogoonholiday - fingers crossed for no 6, you can do it!

Off to update the front page now. LittleMissH is doing Thursday’s update so I’ll see you all on Friday.

    ‘night everyone

    spoon xx

PS: thanks to everyone who asked - Tuesday was much better than Monday, the week has definitely got better (mind you if it had got worse I think I might have hit the bottle by now!!)

:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

    Good morning all!

    th_quickhellosmiley.gif

Pleased to report I have got 3-in-a-row, so that takes me up to 6!

Wont spend today either as I am off to my weigh-in this morning, then I plan to have an easy day pottering around, making soup and catching up with programmes I've $KY+ but not had a chance to watch!

Glad things have eased a bit for you Spoon, and yes you can join Beanie in the queue for a scarf!LOL! th_smiley_06_scarf.gif

  • It's a spend day today :( Bit cross with myself as I didn't plan properly. We usually only have potatoes about 3 times a week, so instead of properly checking the meal plan I just got my usual 2 bags. Doh! So off to Lidl this morning (that's fast becoming my favourite shop, but the result was that I found some money in DDs old car seat from when I shoved it in there when DS2 was in hospital. At least it didn't have to come out of the bank so that was a relief.

We're cleaning the carpets this weekend (rock & roll here :D) so you never know I may get an nsd at the weekend, now that will be a bonus.
