Gah, my NSD has been spoilt by running out of toothpaste, I then ended up spending £55 in Mr S getting the toothpaste - why? ....... I really don't know! I've bought all manner of rubbish and my shopping day is supposed to be on Thursday!

Really cross with myself now

Action plan : catch up with this thread, write a menu plan involving all the "bargains" I bought today and then I shall only need fruit and milk on Thursday.

    Hugs to all

Did I mention though I managed to nab one of the elusive cheap electrical items in Mr T last night (yes I was SUPPOSED to only be taking stuff back) ...but £2.86 for a hairdryer...I'd be mad not to...unless I was bald...which I'm not

No NSD for me today, we've put me as a named driver on my sister's car insurance, and I felt it was unfair for her to pay for it! I know it is purely to help her practice (or is it practise? I can never get those right) for her test, but it will save me so much in petrol not driving her around in my car I felt it was worth it... maybe I'm being silly!

Anyway, other than that, been keeping the spending down! Mainly by not going out... got to change some money tomorrow, as I borrowed some euros from my ma and she's going to france in a couple of weeks.

Off into the garden for an hour in a bit, slowly chipping away at the money I owe my ma... she's "paying" a bit of money (i.e. knocking it off the total i owe) for work in the garden, painting the house, all those other jobs she'd otherwise be paying people considerably more to do, or not getting done...
