Hubby lives in the 1980s when everyone had more money :)

    QUOTE]

I miss the 1980's! Lots of people diss it saying worst hair, worst fashion, worst music. I left school at the beginning of this decade, got married (1st time) in the middle and had my beautiful first daughter at the end and had a 28k mortgage with affordable repayments. Life was difficult sometimes for other reasons but financially it was my best decade despite Margaret Thatcher.

Actually I drove past my pre-wedding 1984 boyfriend earlier this week - I thought my heart would break when we parted. He was a real player and would mess me about something rotten - would never make a "date" but just turn up, sometimes to meet me outside work, other times waiting at the bus stop when I got off, a proper pratt really! That said to me he was "Mr Wonderful". In fact I met my first husband because I was supposed to be going out with said pratt and he let me down at the last moment so I went to a house warming party with a girl from work and met the man I married (although he pretty much turned out to be pratt no 2 but hey... byegones...). Anyway, all these years have passed and boy am I glad it did not work out - lets say - time has not been kind to him.

I also miss the 80's as I had a 23 inch waist, a flat tummy, no wrinkles, happy little boobies that didn't need tucking in my knickers (sorry, tmi, lol) and didn't have root re-growth every flippin fortnight.

Not best pleased this afternoon - changed the bedding this morning then ginger puss decided to chuck up all over dd2 clean quilt (and had clearly had mouse/bird for lunch) - yukky boo! He was one purr away from being marched over to the local chinese to go on tonight's menu - only joking, I love my moggies but for god's sake...!
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x
