    Take note :-

I still did not get satisfactory answer. ALWAYS remember that TESCO or even ASDA has not right to keep your receipt.

My OH is not as strict a me - he let go one of our receipt which has electrical stuff on it. Now I am facing with no proof of purchase:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: wrote email got reply asking me to go in & ask for the Store Manager so they "can" reprint another receipt for me. But I didn't bought it there so I refused point blank to go to that store. Told U.Phil to send it back to me.

Make sure you stand your ground if they ever insist on keeping your receipt. Don't give in like my OH - man!! they can't do things right can they:p
