Your post just made me go and check the dates on our pods as it's DS's machine never really took too much notice esp as I don't drink hot drinks so only if someone visits may use them

Hi everyone!. Been gone for a few weeks. Internet also went down for a week. Dr whowho messaged me, and some merging of the threads happened while i was away, then seperated, now in the right place, or wrong place, i don't know, anyway!

I am here again, i won't attempt to catch up, so this post will be my starting point

Hope everyone is ok, any news i have missed?. :wave:

I used to use Frontline on my cat (and prev one, now on the other side of Rainbow Bridge) but swapped to Fiprospot earlier this year, no fleas to date - touch wood.

We did have a lovely infestation in the previous flat and Staykill (big yellow can) worked to treat the house and soft furnishings - does honk a bit though. Tbh most pet owners who've tried Bob Martin stuff tend to say it's not very effective. Argh....all itchy at the thought now :eek: Hope you get rid of the little blighters, I always found if you could catch one, running it under a tap and down the sink was particually satisfying.... :eek:

I put a few recieps through the T,s price check on Saturday and they still havent come back. I havent done a price check in ages so dont know if this is normal nowadays to wait this long.

hi all, phew I've had a busy few days. Got my sis & her wee one visiting so not only have I had to sort out my house but my dad's house too! Apparently there is some sort of cheerful non-means tested grant that peeps with a terminal illness can get - my sis is going to work on my dad to see if he'll get one & if he does use it for a cleaner for both houses. I'll be back at work full time after xmas and can't cope already! Want to have nice time to spend with kids & dad not worry about cleaning.

Anyhoo, back to cheerful things! I have been wombling at Morrisons & so far got weeks 1 & 2 for the xmas token, so should get 2 maybe even 3 this year. Roadkill - lots of pennies plus a 1 Rand coin in Tesco today, how odd!

Comps - up to about 9 Anchor wins now, thank goodness that's finished! Plus 1 giant pick up stix from Mikado and of course my lovely shoes which had to go back as they were too small. Not receieved bigger size yet!

Allotment spuds - still digging them up regularly, that's been a big help for this year. Hope they do some more promos...

I've not been on the coupon thread in soooo long, did not notice that there was an Ellas Kitchen moc on beforeishop. I will be printing this off as I use lots. I don't use the ginger beer and I'm sure there are others on there that I don't use.

Wish I could get more Ella's mocs....

Great to hear you got back home safely and that you got on so well with your new daughter in law. I don't think I will be bothering with the GFS this year. I have just had a £200 car bill:eek::eek: and I have a dentist appointment the Tuesday before the show starts. :eek::eek: The coupons and freebies seem to be rubbish according to Mark's post on the coupon thread. I haven't booked any rooms and they are a lot now, so I think I will wait till the rooms are on sale for the summer one and go to that instead. We missed so much of the summer one last year, so it will be nice to make a proper day or two of it.
