Morning all. Managed to get a few bits listed on eBay for free weekend and had my brothers wedding my two were bridesmaid & page and they looked so sweet. Glad weekend over though just me and bubs again now. Have spent morning hoovering and cleaning as looks like our cat has got fleas again!!!! They seem to be a nightmare this year and frontline treatment doesn't seem to be working so going to try something diff this time but to be safe have had to Hoover & spray lounge etc coz the little s@@ds have been biting me too. I am the only one in the house that ever get bitten but I must have 30/40 on my back from yesterday only noticed last night when got warm in bed and back was itching like mad all night. Oh well of to vet now to get some superstrenght stuff I hope. See you all later cm

Have you tried steam cleaning(the house not the cat!) I have heard this helps.

What a bummer. But i know what you mean I'm the only one in my house that gets bitten too.Its weird.
Have you tried frontline?Bit pricy but protects cat for a month so if you do treatments back to back covers the lifecycle of the flea and theyt all die off.
Also some chemists sell it not(lloyds being one) so no need to go to vet!

Have you not seen the steam cleaners?(Why is this funny by the way?)

The one I have is both a steam cleaner and vacuum cleaner(Polti)
I use it all around the house to clean the kitchen floor, the carpets, furniture, curtains, bathrooms, tiles, toilets, cooker etc. I also use it on my dogs beds.It sterilizes due to the high temperature of the steam and as I understand it this kills the fleas and eggs.Never had a problem with fleas (touch wood!)

It is also good for people with allergies as it kills dust mites etc. I use it to run over the mattress with as well.

If you google steam cleaners it will show you them and what they do.

Posting link dont know if it will work
    http://www.steam-cleaners-irons.gur.co.uk/polti_pvgb0021_vaporetto_lecoaspira_intelligent-6530

You can get them much cheaper than this, as this is the top of the range.
