I will be thinking about you tomorrow Flirtini xx

    Lovely nails xoxo.

 Welcome to the newbies - good luck with the challange.

I think my No7 Night cream will be a UU tonight. I am now taking a cotton bud to my Clinique foundation to fish out the last dregs of it - very :money:

Otherwise no further movement on the splutterers.

Off topic, just wanted to pass some thanks to where they are due - I'm giving the eulogy at my dad's funeral tomorrow, and have used the pink rose candle philosophy in it - I think it was McCulloch who introduced it here, so thank you so much. It made it much easier to put the idea into words. Xxxx

My goodness, that's wonderful. The thanks go to the late Erma Bombeck, who originated the philosophy.

Just heard of the passing of a dear Internet friend today - also Trudij's friend. He died last week and it's hit me like a hammer blow. You don't have to meet someone for the friendship to be real.

Hope it all goes well. xxx

Flirtini, hope all goes well today. My thoughts are with you and yours at this most difficult time. Please accept another dodgy hug from me :) :grouphug:
UU 4 sachets of nivea moisturisers today (yesterday) after my bath. Skin's a bit dry at the moment and feeling neglected. Also got covered in bites. Mosies are out in force.
Well, it's cooling down a bit now, I think the winter is going to start setting in on us now. I love cozy evenings in front of the fire :)

    Hi Everyone,
    Condolences to Flirtini.

I just updated my list and have a grand total of 273 items in total:o, which may be added to if i find more stuff hidden away lol. It seems quite bizarre considering I have been barely buying any products especially hair products and makeup. I brought my first new shampoos the other day in probably 3 years at least as before that I had about minimum 30 bottles of shamppo and conditioner stashed away and I thought how ridiculous it was so made myself work my way through the stash.

Makeup i just seem to accumulate by being given bits and pieces from friends who have something they brought and didnt like or got half way through and got bored or w/e. I have put most of my makeup in a clear box and have put a little bag of makeup in my bathroom to try and encourage me to use it a couple of times a week minimum.
I have also stashed away everything that is unopened, I was a little embarrassed how many opened cleansers and moisturisers I have atm so am making an effort to use up anything that is close to being finished.

Sorry for my epic post, hope everyone is doing well. My aim is to get through to Christmas without buying anything. I need a few things, well want them, but have decided not to purchase as I have so much stuff it is crazy. I will just put almond oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil on my wish list for Christmas:D

Sorry to hear about your friend And and Trudij - you're so right about not having to have met someone to be friends - I think most of us here appreciate that fact.

I have another UU - S&G The Greatest Scrub of All - WIBA? Probably not, although not because of its efficiency, that's not in question at all. No, it's the fact that its one of those with "micro beads" that pop when you massage them onto your face, and they get stuck around the hole in the top of the tube so it's a nightmare getting the stuff out! Another S&G one out for use next - Scrub Your Nose In It.

I've done PYN..what day are we on? That day anyway :p

Been experimenting with the No 17 magnetized polishes. Went for grey today.

    2urwbck.jpg

Quite impressed with them, they're very easy, although a bit fiddly on the opposite hand :o I have 2 other colours to play with (Blue and Green) later in the week :) Can't wait for more colours to come out :j That's bad I know :o :rotfl:

errr what are magnetized and why are they fiddly??????
  • I saw these in boots at the weekend, there's a magnet on the lid that when the varnish is still wet you hover it over the nails and it creates that effect.

1 IN for me already, but one I don't feel guilty about! I've got horrible chicken skin on the tops of my arms that I feel really paranoid about, and I've got a ball coming up. I've found a product that it supposed to help but it was expensive! If it works I really don't care though, it'll be worth it. The bigger issue is that I bought it from boots so now have a voucher for no7!

    http://www.30somethingmel.co.uk/2011/09/26/17-magnetized-magnetic-nail-polishvarnish-blue-lilac-and-green/

It's fiddly because you have a ridge on the lid you're supposed to put on your finger before the nail starts (IYKWIM?) and hold it there above your nail for 10-15secs, and trying to balance it right without touching your nail on the opposite hand was a bit awkward :rotfl:

Mcculloch and Trudij - Sorry to hear of your loss xx

Flirtini thoughts are with you today xx
