Lidl tea bags

Wasn't really sure where to post this:o We've got a new Lidl near us and I wondered what the consensus was on their tea bags please (assume they do some:o). I usually drink Twinings Everyday if that helps at all. I stock uo on it when it's on offer though and my stocks are low.

I do like their Fair Trade teabags, the flavour & strength are perfect for me (I don't like 'tradesman's tea') but they're not the most money saving option0 -
I find the own brand guide site useful for avoiding inedible items
Hope you like them0 -
I'm drinking the Lidl own brand tea for the first time and can't really tell the difference.Life is what you make it. Always has been, always will be0

As this is more of a shopping question than Old Style I've moved it over to the Food Shopping & Groceries board where you should get more replies.

My favourite is Twinings Everyday too, I have one box left but only buy it on offer.
This week got a free sample of 3 PG Tips new 'Fresh' tea bags and they were really nice (don't like normal Pg at all). Don't know the price but I shall be looking out for those on offer too.
Haven't tried the Lidl ones but worth a go by the sound of it.0 -
Thank you everyone:) Pink-winged I never knew there was this section and I've been using MSE for a good few years:o
Will try the Lidl teabags and report back.0 -

My husband is a bit of a tea snob, and wouldn't even touch Tesco own brand (not value) or Asda own brand. in fact, on the days where we couldn't stretch to buying a new box of teabags and still keep within the food budget, he used to do without. there's no other food or drink product that he's similarly stubborn on.
however he will drink the Lidl cheap tea with no complaints at all, in fact he says it's really nice. definitely good enough for me at 27p a box!0
