They are unlikely to take the coins, but would be able to exchange the notes for you.

    Worth checking :

as well, although only really useful for small amounts if you're London based.

You can exchange coins at certain bureaux de change, but you're better off just keeping them for next time or trying to sell them with someone going to Europe

I normally keep all the cash unless I see the exchange rate at an all time high and I'll not be using them otherwise for > 6 months.

For such a small amount, it's only worth holding onto it. Otherwise you'll pay to have the notes converted to GBP and banked, then next time you go abroad, you'll pay again to change money into EUR.

cost you about £8 to convert, hold onto them
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • I've just received £80 for £100 Euro's at M&S.

That's a very good example. You lost about 7-8% of their value converting them (actual value around £86). And you'll have to pay several more % to get them back next time you travel to the Eurozone (assuming it still exists then, of course).
