Hope you fantastic people can help a technophobe
I've been happily using Google Chrome for several months on both my ancient PC and relatively young Netbook.
Today I had the same message on both
'(Microsoft) Security Essentials detected 1 potential threat and suspended it.- PWS:Win32/Zbot - Click Clean Computer to remove this threat'
So I clicked Clean Computer. I then ran a full scan with Malwarebytes & Superantispyware (paranoid?) on both PC & Netbook. Netbook came up with some adware tracking but nothing serious.
Now, on my Netbook, I can still use the shortcut to Chrome (though the logo has disappeared) but on my PC the shortcut doesn't work and when I tried to download a fresh version of Chrome, I get the same MSE warning message so effectively I can't download Chrome.
As I said, I'm a bit of a technophobe but this is driving me mad.
I really don't want to have to rely on IE8 for browsing
Any help gratefully received.

Use system restore if you have a recent one
That should help unless MSE uninstalled any parts of Chrome0 -

They are continuing to help me despite my literal.lateral mind and technerdiness.
