I put my valid parking ticket in my rear window and got a fine.
There was plenty of time left on it when I returned to car
Should I appeal? What are my chances?

To clarify - if your ticket was given to you by the authorities, appeal. If it were issued by a private company, forget the explanation and just ignore.
For reasons of certainty, can you tell us which body gave you the charge and the nature of the facility where you parked (eg. railway station, retail park, etc.).0 -
Rear window?
Shouldn't the ticket have been displayed so that it was visable from the windscreen?0 -
Why did you put it in the rear window?make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Why does this sound like a wind up???I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
