Purchased a two motnh code off Ebay. It went through okay...said I had a two motnh trial but now its asking for my car details which are Visa, Amex and Mastercard. I don't have any of these. Can I not use the service? Have I wasted my money?

Log into XBox on the web or via the console (I find web easier) and it will tell you if you have Gold membership as silver is free, dont forget on your primary gamertag as soon as you log into silver you get a free month anyway and if you do this with two secondary gamertags you get a month for each one giving you a total of 3months Gold membership I month for each gamertag.

xbox live normally asks for your credit / debit card details once your subscription is finished as if you add your card details it will renew your subscription and if you don't it will revert your account back to silver membership

If you want I have a 48 hour gold trial number if you want to try that and see what happens, this code will only work as long as you have silver membership at the moment
