Last time you had bad tooth ache did you look for a cheap course on dentistry or did you go to a dentist?
Unless your wanting to be a web designer you are better off getting a professional site created for you using a content management system so that you can then maintain it yourself.0 -
How complicated does your site need to be? Is it just a few basic pages used to outline your services or something all singing and dancing?
If its all singing and dancing you would need to learn a hell of a lot and should probably get professional advice.
If it's just a simple site think about using Word Press, it's not just for blogs. Once you learn the basics of Word Press you will find it much easier maintaining you site than trying to hard code it.
Hi just to be honest it does not need to be complecated it just needs the following goal such as consistancy and structure, When you create your blog or site keep it in mind for your end user who are using it, The marketing skills ect, The problem with many blogs is that they have so many great Blogsites out there but never really get seen because the users feel it's too long or complecated.
Befoe you start your blog like my other post states design it on pen & Paper make a storyboard like this video shows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIfB3SzaaS8
no need to re-invent the wheel but work along it as they say? keep in mind such as the video shows here its just about what you need from the site and what message you are trying to show/tell
Hope that helps
