Musty smell in back garden on the patio

I am guessing obviously but curing the causes of damp should be a priority as I cannot help but think they are related.

Where are the sources of your leaks in the house? Locating these might reveal a leaking joint or waste pipe which might be easily fixed. Are they on the same side of the house where the smell is?

right, we have fixed the guttering today and the plumber is going to give us a quote as the leak under the sink is the stop !!!!

however, i have sourced the musty smell problem, it was the underside of the aluminium bistro table in the garden!! no wonder it was only when i was sitting out in the garden with a cuppa!
