Hi
I have a friend who has dual residency and had ood credit rating in the USA. He has moved to the UK, has got himself a job which starts next week.
The problem he has (even though he has savings in his dads acct) is trying to open a bank account for his salary to go into
Can anyone recommend a bank account or how he can go about this.

Thanks will pass that on, appreciate the help. i do wonder how students fom oerseas get current accts as it seems impossible for my friend at the moment and he has dual citizenship and just landed a full time job0

Good news, went to the Halifax bank and they opened an account, its a basic one but a start0
