Nationwide systems useless

Options
OH is constantly being chased by Nationwide. Despite paying by direct bank transfer (Nationwide to Nationwide) and talking to them by phone only last night they keep telephoning during the day. Every time they call I tell them he is at work & to phone after 7.30pm, yet next day the phone rings again.

The last person to call got a bit of an earful I am afraid. Just fed up with a system that re-sets itself every day so I am the one answering the phone ALL the time.

Just ask him to phone them to request that he's taken off their marketing list.

OP mentioned paying Nationwide by transfer, so I presume he owed them money. Coming off their marketing list only stops sales calls, not calls chasing debts.

The OP's OH needs to provide Nationwide with a daytime phone number. Simple.

Trouble is the daytime number is pretty useless at getting him at work. The phones are in the office & he could be anywhere overseeing some process or another. Mobiles do not work inside the building either.
