to be honest i feel in most instances touch screen PC's are a bit of a gimmic, mainly because a PC is designed to work best with a mouse and keyboard and is not portable so you lose most of the advantages of a touch screen interface, not onyl that but most of the time you keep the screen a distance back from you and usualy at eye height to make it easier to use, which then makes touching the screen less comfortable.
so in my honest opinion i would recommend spending your money on a better (because you are not paying a price premium for the touch screen) overall computer and monitorDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Its mainly for my son, he suffers with Autism.
So the benefit of him having touch screen functionality will be appealing to him.0 -
Would a tablet/iPad not be more comfortable to use in that case?0

We already have the iPad, so want something that will be functional as he gets older. He is 3 at the moment.0

well I would consider a touch screen display with a normal PC
what you buy now will be outdated in no time(In PC terms) with these all in one units
separating the 2 makes easier upgrades
this is a quick example,I havent researched prices/spec/reviews!

If you mean something he can do spreadsheets, word processing on, there is no point buying it now, it will belong in a museum by the time he needs to do stuff like that.0
