At the time, there was a copy advertised for $700. I've had my copy on at a much lower price and no takers so far. In the end, it's only worth what someone will pay for it.
Some books are so scarce that no one knows they exist :rotfl:
Some were printed in such small quantities because the author was unknown that no one bought the book when it came out and so no one is searching to replace it now so such books will sit on shelves forever. Unfortunately, many booksellers see a high price and get over excited!
There are buyers looking for scarce books but they could well just walk away and give up if they see crazy prices thus the seller loses what could still have been a nice sale.0 -

I am a Librarian and looked it up on the database we use at work. It is out of print and the last copy was published in 1989. So, you definitely can't buy it new now, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's in great demand!0 -
Thank you everyone. I've been thinking about this today. I'll probably hold on to this for a bit longer because it reminds me of my childhood and I don't think I can see it go yet.DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0
