    It is correct to complete each entry, as it reduces the chance of it being altered or added to. Thus 'Two hundred pounds only' and '£200-00' (a dash is generally preferred to a decimal point as it shows up more clearly).

    I remember some of my staff liking to write Ø.ØØ instead of 0.00 to demonstrate that an item was blank, or null. But I drew the line (no pun intended) when they started to include them in a number, like 2ØØ, as it just confused the issue.
