tesco bank beware

In june I opened an account and deposited a large amount at tesco bank. They said they would be sending a certificate of deposit and a pin for web access, almost four months later neither have arrived. The last letter from them weeks ago said in '5 working days'. I have even emailed the CEO mr Benny but no reply. I could phone them up again but have already spent 60 quid waiting for them to answer. What is the problem with them?

If there is one bank (if thats a name for them) I wouldnt deal with its them, I did try them a few years ago, they had a good savings rate, was promised 50quids of vouchers i think?? for depositing, could not access my money for over 6 weeks no one could help me and then they refused to give me the vouchers because I hadnt accessed my account:cool::mad:

So needless to say as soon as I could I took my cash out

Do not under any circumstances, even if it is the last bank on earth, go any where near Tesco bank.
