  • hi i am an exeteR person too. my partners mum got some things hair straighteners for i think it was one pound, a cheap oven dish and some bathroom baskets. i dont drive so it is too far for me, probably a good thing

    I saw a manager hand his wife a whole trolley load of toys and off she went to checkout

    I went to Newton Abbot today and got a few things but half of the stuff that is reduced isnt at either Ex*t*r or N*wton

  • I was in my local store today and a staff member was reducing toys of a cage and placing them on the toy sale aisle ..I got
    a ripstick razor scooter thing for £6.00
    a pink smart trike for £5.00
    a ballpit for £1.00
    also 2 of the barbie cars with the stickers on them so got the for free with DTD so there are still some bargains to be had !

    Yes but there's perks and being just greedy , I mean those huge blue crates full managers took and 2 ppl from staff floor told me how annoyed they were as shop floor never got a look in, my friend who works there asked for 1 barbie to be put away and managers refused yet loaded there cars up

    Yes that sounds greedy. I consider the amount people buy on here that they don't even need greedier. I know I will be shot down but the quickest glance at the toy sale thread will show how much excess is bought as people seem to have an awful lot of 'spares' available to swap. If they left them on the shelf in the first place maybe other people would get a shot at buying them.
