Too true. was in store wednesday night collecting something from customer service desk. A supervisor came up with a trolley load of toys which she had picked at the beginning of the week for herself. A lot of the toys were the best ones, looked at the shelves and not much left. Have complained on their facebook site and they have acknowledged they will be having words with the store manager.
  • Tesco K1ngston Park had a cashier outside standing with rails of clothes, it looked like kiddies sunhats and towels with the hoods on and one rail of ladies clothing. There were big signs up with 70% off on them and I think I heard someone mentioning they were £1 each, not too sure of exact price as it wasnt anything I needed, but people were swarming around straight away!
  • Nothing in tesco K1dderm1nster - there was never anything and still there is nothing lol You peole getting things are lucky.
  • In C*rm*rth*n there were 4 laptops reduced to next to nothing by accident and these were taken by the managers without question - I know that they have been in hot water over this and there has been virtually no sign of any toys so I reckon the staff have had these without them getting as far as the shelves !

the manager at Walsall tesco's has stopped the toy sale due to the amount of people 'fighting' over the toys!!! and filling up trolleys then coming back for more, they deemed it unfair! why do people have to be greedy??? just spoils it for the rest of us :(

Managers had all toys at ours too , 2 staff members told me they were fuming as never got a look in yet managers had cars loaded and those big blue crates overflowing full of toys and electricals :(
Explained why our store had nothing though

  • the same was true in the chesterfield store, last friday as we were walking towards the electrical department we spotted the store manager and staff removing all the 90% off electric shavers etc and putting them into cages they went staight into the back presumably for the staff, not at all fair
