Refund not received for returned product

Options
I bought a headset for PS3 from Games Basement several months ago. It was faulty and I contacted them. They originally didn't reply. Then they eventually did and told me to return the headset. I had to pay postage and they said if the item was faulty they'd refund the money for postage with the product refund.
3 months down the line, despite being told that they will refund in full I have recieved nothing. I have sent several emails, 2 were answered saying they'd refund soon, the last one has been ignored. It is only £7 but that isn't the point. I am very annoyed. Can I report them to anyone? Thanks DD

Forget the email lark, send them a real letter.
Call it a letter before action.
Google for samples or see this post.
    State in it your grievance.
What you expect to happen... refund of all monies paid plus return postage.
When you expect it to happen... within 14 days.
What will happen if they don't comply... you will take the dispute to the Small Claims Court.

    Send it recorded delivery.

While they're dealing with that, have a read about Money Claim Online.

Is it worth going to the small claims court for 7 quid?

Well that's for the OP to decide.

    The OP did say...

A LBA often has the desired result.
The seller would be silly to risk a court case over £7.
    Works both ways.

If it goes to court, yes it will entail a further outlay, but that can be added to the claim.

Yeah That's true I just got the impression the op was looking more at finding someone to complain to about this as opposed to launching legal action. I'm happy to stand corrected though

Hi, yes that was the case, though thank you to everyone for your help and advice. I wanted to report them to trading standards or someone. After forking out £7 I dont want be paying for recorded delivery letters! I'll just end up paying more and getting nowhere, though I may send them a letter anyway. It's just annoying. I also think people should be warned about them as they are obviously not a reputable company.

If i recall correctly, there have been a few threads on MSE about how bad they are. Always helps to have a reminder though :p

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! Unfortunately not something we have, just live and learn i'm afraid.

What i usually do if i'm not buying from a place I know and trust is i google them. Specifically phrases like "xxxxxx review" or "xxxxxx complaint" or "xxxxxx problem".

As the saying goes, if it exists.....its on the internet! :D
