    Two travel for the price of one, until early Feb, so long as you prenotify them of your route / train.

    Not sure if this wipes out any railcard discount.

    I've just used megatrain.com to book 3 tickets to London in Feb for £37. Not bad at all from Bournemouth.

    Try them; I'm coming up with £6 each for the train to London in the morning (departs at 09:55) and £10 each for the evening return (departs Waterloo at 21:39) plus a 50p booking fee.

    From Bournemouth to London I paid £18,30 with Apex return ticked. On the station they said the price was £67,70 but they gave me the Standard return ticket price. I asked if there was any cheaper ticket and they said that was the only one. Then searching their site I found the Apex ticket. What a save: £49,40 for same time and journey!

    always check to see if booking single each way tickets are cheaper than booking a return....a lot of times they are...
