Graze nibble boxes - taking liberties

After getting a voucher entitling me to a free trial box of nibbles i signed up on the graze website. I thought it was a bit odd to be asked for credit card information just to confirm my ID...(That's what it said when i clicked on the link "why do we need this info") - of course, people only want credit card info to take payment from it. I got my free box - very nice, thank you - and then another box i hadn't ordered arrived 2 days later. I checked the credit card bill and found that they had debited payment. I checked my graze account and found that I was signed up for 2 boxes a week, which had happened without me saying so. As far as I knew it was one trial box and that was it. Fortunately it was possible to cancel them, though not immediately obvious.

So watch out if you've gone for your free trial box - they'll keep coming!

It actually is very obvious that it is a recurring system.
On the signup page at the bottom http://www.graze.com/signup it tells you which days you will receive your boxes and won't let you sign up without a weekly day being selected - you clearly didn't read this.

This is a very common occurance when you order "Free" stuff from most sites

It is even detailed on the MSE Main site (Although the offer appears to have finished?)
How: Create an account at Graze (you need to enter your card details) and use the code V36CP3T from Wed 21 to Fri 23 Sept 2011. The Graze box is a subscription so you pay for a weekly delivery until you cancel. You can stop subscribing at any time with no notice, so you could get the freebie and cancel. Or, you could carry on with your subscription and get the second box for £1.74. After that it's £3.49 per box. There's no direct debit; it charges your card two days before each box is delivered.

The Detail: You have to be a totally new customer to get the freebie, so if you've had a free Graze box before, you'll have to sit this one out. The offer can't be used with any other offer or cashback website.

MSE Deborah says: You'll automatically continue to get weekly unless you cancel, which you can do at any time.

When choosing your delivery day, you'll be automatically subscribed for two boxes per week. Make sure you un-tick the later delivery date and cancel as soon as you can so you're not charged.
