Minor freak out - ESTA application
Comments
-
I've had a bizzare 'issue' with my families ESTA's.
We last went to USA in 2009 so applied for ESTA for the whole family early that year. No problems with application or immigration.
Just booked for USA agin in 2012 and checked the status of our applications as expected them to expire in 2011.
However, 3 of us have an expiry date of Sept 2012 (so its been valid for over 3 years). BUT, 1 says no application found.
I've contacted the relevant customs depatment and they say that the birthday listed is different to what it actually is and that I need to apply again.
Now I know you are probabaly thinking that I typed the dates in incorrectly, but I know for a fact I didnt as I have screen prints of the applications. Also, if it was wrong then how did we get entry last time around?
Something's wrong and so I'm now trying to get them to admit it. Its difficult becuase on the one hand 3 of our ESTAs should have expired but they havent. And one should be valid and isn't!
I will probably post this in its own thread to see if other have had the same.0
