HSBC PPI reclaim - half way there maybe?

Hi all, first post so please go gentle on me.

I'm just after a bit of help if possible with a reclaim of PPI. The claim relates to 4 loans which are essentially the same loan, but it was rejigged a few times to borrow slightly more. Each time PPI was included.

HSBC have responded to my claim by sending me a table of figures, which details basically how much PPI was taken out and how much was refunded when the loan was rejigged. The difference obviously being the PPI that I repaid.

I have calculated that I repaid approx £3,900.

So what do I do now? They haven't actually responded to me saying I feel I was missold it, but only sent me some figures and I am unsure what to do next?

Any help on how to progress this further will be hugely appreciated.

Kindest Regards,

Chris

Hi there, did you put a complaint in for the mis sell of this ppi? as it seems they have given you the amounts you paid and not acknowledged that they have recieved a complaint regarding the mis sell.
Give them a ring and find out if you have a complaint in or not,if you havent, then put one in.
  • Hi there, and thanks for the quick response.

I filled out the template from this site and included all the details as to why I felt I was missold the PPI but they seem to have not acknowledge that bit.

Although the breakdown of figures, was very helpful.

    Cheers,

    Chris
