Hi
As mentioned above the vouchers all have expiry of Sunday 7th, what's the chance of them being accepted on Sunday? Would you be within your rights to ask for them to honour them? I won't be shopping till the weekend so will be trying it but just wondered what others thought. Thanks0 -
I've handed out a coupon (the shreddies offer) when I saw someone looking, as I had a spare one....hope people don't think I'm mad!
have also passed on some freebies to others thanks to the coupons...elderly neighbours very grateful..:p

I know there's a lot of talk about 'trouts' on MSE, and I have encountered a few in the past, but I have to compliment the staff at my local Tesco.
It's a Tesco Metro - so technically the coupons aren't valid. However....
- I used coupons on Sunday, and one didn't work. SA said "oh, these coupons have been playing up all day!" and sorted it out.:T
- bought Quality Street on Wednesday(?) night. As I put it on the conveyor belt, SA (different one) said "Have you got your coupon for that?! They're over there at the door [pointed to leaflet stand]". OK, I had my coupon already, but fair play to the SA...
Now, I've had my disagreements with my local Tesco in the past [ahem] but praise where it's due.
[I hope this doesn't jinx me for the future!]0 -
Don't you just love it when you can do that? Waste paper to you, hard cash to someone else. I always try to give away my unwanted coupons. Most people catch on immediately that you're trying to hand them the equivelent of pound coins but I have had a couple of episodes where the recipient looks at you as if you're completely bonkers. :rotfl:
And no-one has ever given me a coupon out of the blue.....:(0 -
anyone tried using them today please??0
