Holiday location ideas needed

Hi...

Really struggling to find the perfect location/hotel for 2007 summer beach holiday. Not so much looking for specific holiday deals (unless they jump out), more wanting recommendations of nice location & hotels...but I'll stick down requirements anyway...

Requirements include :

2 adults only
aiming for somewhere with not too many kids + decent night life (quiet in the day if poss ie. sun bathing)
any board
7 - 14 nights...don't mind at this point
not in school hols (before or after)
looking at using £1k worth of tesco vouchers so I'm restriced to Cosmos + XL.com only it seems

XL airways have reduced flights by £50 to Alicante in May. From Manchester Total for 2 people most Fridays May £166 Use code DIVERS to get further discount. Then choose somewhere in main resorts to stay. Should by quiet May. Try first week May before school holidays start. Also if you can afford it book accom with thomson seperately. Several hotels only 140 per week for the two of you at half board. Apartments from £87. Also try flights to Reus and stay in CYE apartments Salou for only £35 week for apartments for up to 5people with Thomsons If anyone else is reading this is spacious accomodation for up to 5 people with all facilities and free air conditioning. Works out at £5 each per week . These apartments are near the train station if anyone is wanting to travel down the coast for a bit of sight seeing. A tip for anyone travelling from Reus to Salou if there are four of you get taxis. The fare works out around £20 or £28 euro. When you leave the airport taxis outside have a list with all the hotels on quoting charge. Works out £5 each per way with 4 in taxi.
