  • ah.. ebay.... a law unto themselves.

They recently ( well, over christmas period ) PULLED my auctions for unjust reasons...

I proved my auctions where legal and valid yet they refused to reinstate them or apologize, except, changing their reason for auction pull each time I disproved the previous reason for being pulled. oh dear! ( very confusing I'm sure to anyone who's not been there )

Asked for Specifics as to why my auctions where pulled ( asking for clarification as to what exactly was wrong, be it wording, pictures or item itself ) and got NO REPLY, other than one saying that although my future emails would be read by ebay CS, no replies would be sent!

STONEWALLED by Ebay ! Oh My Word!

I think nearly everyone snipes now. It's human instinct to want a bargain and to pay as little for it.

Yes, it's stomach churning to watch if you're a seller using the auction method and your item is worth a bit ( but not as much as Ebays silly £50 reserve fee minimum )

On the flip side.... if you're a buyer, it's more exciting if you're willing to stick to a figure and NOT go over it, and bid as late as you can.

If you dont win, so what? you where obviously not prepared to pay as much as the person who did win! ...or... you left bidding so late that your bid did'nt go through as sale was over. ( ah... it happens )

my record is 1 second before bidding ends. ;)
 single forever, not looking. Don't drink, don't smoke. Oh what a Happy Bunny !!!

Some people watch items as they may have the same item they want to sell so they will just watch it to see what sort of money it goes for and have an idea of how much their item will sell for

I watch items that I'm thinking of putting on ebay myself, gives me an idea of what starting price to put on and which ones sell and which ones don't

I wacth items alot of the time if I plan to sell something on ebay I do a bit of research and see how much it's worth as it's nice to know what sort of price you might be able to get and it gives you a good idea at how much to start it at
