XBox360's just replied on the main thread (oh oh, here we go again with the whole 'wrong thread!' thing again...) pointing out that the Impulse Premiere stuff that Charliebois posted is a competition. Fair enough, it sounds like one but everytime u 'enter', u get an email with the ticket claim. So I wouldn't really call it a comp. Unless I'm just lucky everytime?

If anyone has found different, pls correct me.

Looking at that XBox360 post, and those that were recently deleted from the 'codes' thread it struck me that there was something famliar about the somewhat confrontational tone of the posts - compare the posting histories of Xbox360 and darkteckno - are they one and the same?

Wow o_t_e, uv been doing ur research! Hmm, u could be onto something there, both v simliar styles, (short, blunt replies, no etiquette) lots of bumping, always telling people off and generally causing a lot of aggro. In fact, it was horrible readin all the stress caused on those other posts. :( Thing is, going by darktechno's colourful history, has Xbox360 wound up enough people to be the same person?

    Hi!

Does it ever work? I was trying to get tickets for "Surf's up" only(?) 4 hours after someone posted the code on here and it says (as usually) that "the screening is full". What am I doing wrong?

Haha, you're quite right, bnkers. I think the only competition/challenge involved is where you dash to the cinema to claim your pair of tickets before they've all gone. It's pretty ridiculous though, as quite often the cinema hasn't even heard about the screening/you're lucky enough to get the last tickets and when you turn up to the screening there are only 8 other people in there (ultra hilarious when those 8 people scramble to grab all the impulse goodie bags:rotfl: but hey, since nobody else bothered turning up, more power to em).

Makdawid, particularly since this is a child-friendly screening its bound to be uber-popular and almost the moment it's posted, hundreds if not thousands of people are claiming tickets so the venues fill up quickly.

You'd be best off trying the code again later. As often happens, more seats are released closer to the date of the screening. Also, keep an eye on the thread as another code might also come up. As I've mentioned, you have to be quick off the mark.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

They're doing pretty well for someone posting for two weeks; as darkteckno's posts had a habit of being deleted I thought I'd quote some of Xbox360s - sure enough they are all gone this morning.

this may be a dumb question but can't you just photocopy or print out another confirmation and take that?

I'll be there so hopefully see you there.... and an early happy birthday to your son.
