been to a few screenings, they don;t usually check but one time they did and i just had credit cards - the cashier was a bit funny about it and expected me to have passport but her supervisor said credit cards were fine.

Does anyone have a Times ticket for Transformers i Portsmouth?

I have bought 2 copies to get everyone in my family in to the film, but don't fancy phoning the premium line twice. I just wondered if the unique codes were in any way similar or just random....

    Thanks

    Hiya,

We managed to get there using the Jubilee line.
It seemed like they'd more of an effort than previous previews we'd been to, with girls wondering around with Angel wings on, face painting for the kids, and I believe there were a couple of animals, but all we could hear was an unhappy parrot sqwaking (sp?).

My other hald thought it was good, better than the first one, but I disagreed.
It was a very typical american 'save the planet' type family film. If you've seen Dr Doolittle 2, you'd get the general idea, but having said that, the animatronics and CGI were very good, and very subtle.

I hope this helps you decide whether you missed out!

Yes, made it, took ages to get there on the bus. It was interesting to see the new O2, and the cinema was nice. The film was good, at one point I turned to my OH and we couldn't stop laughing because the film was so corny. I will give them credit that they did a good job at pulling off the concept. There was WAY too much religion, but then I guess it was a story about an arc...

    It was a fun afternoon.

Side note: It was strange that they had such an unhappy screaming cockatoo in the lobby, I asked about it and I was told that it was just trying to get attention. Having spent a few years living in Australia, I have to say that I have never seen a cockatoo in such an unhappy mood.

We also got there using the jubliee line, first time at the new O2 and its really really nice. My sister seem to think the film wasn't bad, i just thought it was very "corney" and just typical but it was free. The cinema itself was good, you didn't have to stand up out of your seat to let people pass and the screen was MASSIVE.

The prices as expected were stupidly over priced but you know what can you do lol. We wanted to go to a restrurant but were not prepared to wait in the queues we saw exspecially for nandos and a place next door. A indoor beach is near completion, i just want to see what the arena looks like.

It's a nice place there, and planning to go watch the simpsons there too.

The roads were open at that time. I think they opened from 1pm. I drove and I live in that area.

Good film and I have to give credit to Vue O2, well organised, they seated us in a big screen and it was the screen slightly seperate to the rest so no getting mixed up or staff not knowing what our printed tickets were for. :T

cheers guys for replying to my post!

i can't believe i missed out! my other half refused to take me there (from plumstead common) because parking would cost too much and the case of whether we'll be able to get there!
As most of the websites for the live traffic news i searched said road closures until 2pm. At first we were going to drive to charlton village and park there then take the bus but i remembered that they stopped some of the bus servies like bus 472!

oh well i'll just have to wait for another free preview screening because the o2 dome looks kinda cool....

so the screening you guys went to....was it just like how other cinema screening rooms are except more leg room space?

i wonder if they going to introduce some 3D cinema there too!
