Just wanted to say thanks...again as have come back tonight from watching "Gone" at Didsbury! Really enjoyed it, and had a special Q and A afterwards with the director and the main female actress Amelia Warner, surprisingly there was only 10 of us that stayed behind to ask questions!! And to top it off was handed a coupon for a free beer at an Aussie bar....thanks gr8 night out!

Went to Becoming Jane at Leeds Light (a Vue cinema). They said it was not on, and there had been a misprint on the date in the Sunday Times. (well, that would have been twice on the page with the voucher, plus Vue Customer Services said it was to be shown there tonight...)

Any other cinemas have this problem?

Manager went off to phone someone. After half an hour some staff handed out free tickets to those that waited, but we don't know if they will show Becoming Jane on Thursday as the manager did not re-appear...
  • I went to see "becoming jane" at cineworld milton keynes it was a really good movie to watch at the end we have to do an interview with the film cast from the richard and judy show...pretty good night :)

  • Been to see 'Outlaw' at Leeds/ Bradford tonight.
Though I found parts of it really uncomfortable (the violence was severe IMO)
I did really enjoy it! Sean Bean was great, and Bob Hoskins his usual believable self! Cinema was 95% Full! A good one for an English film!
    What does anyone else think?

Oooh I was there too! Wasn't it annoying that they let people in well after the film had started? And with the cinema almost full all that stumbling about with them trying to find seats...grrr! Also not keen on the adverts etc at the start...never known them do that before at this cinema.

As to the film...enjoyed it but thought, after starting with a good plot, it kinda didn't know where it was going towards the end. Agree about SB and BH...also thought the black actor was good too, (don't know his name).

Now, for the first time in ages, we do not have any tickets outstanding for anything...boo hoo!!

Have many people got tickets for 'Meet the Robinsons' (this Sunday) yet? I notice that someone was offering theirs on the other thread earlier. Still waiting for mine...:(
