Perhaps today was the day of Notification for the "winners"
I didn't think it was a competition. Weird.0 -
Sorry about my error on the cinema code forum Andy597.
I have now deleted the posts in question.
Also many thanks for the advice you gave me on the other site and the very polite way you redirected me to here. Greatly appreciated. Thank You.0 -

Perhaps I should have used the words "First come first served" to be notified
was not having a dig at anyone .... I was just pointing out that I got notification via hotmail that was all .... nothing sinister.
I thought I was helping .... not sniping
If it was not taken that way then I apologise.
Soz, I wasn't having a go. Just saying that I didn't realise it was a competiton and it was weird that I hadn't notice.0 -
Tickets still not released, still showing 192 seats available at my local cinema. Guess the password will be in tomorrow or sunday times newspaper. Expect the tickets to fly then. Let's hope someone posts the passwordMember No. 18 of the "104 free previews in 2008" club!19 down 85 to go0

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I have signed up to seefilmfirst and have been allocated 2 tickets for Superbad. As this is the first preview i have seen with them is it first come first served to get the tickets or have the tickets actually been allocated to me ?0

I have seen people turned away from venues, even though they had been allocated tickets. However, I have also been to screenings where there were plenty of free seats leftover. This film will probably be popular though, so my advice is to get there early.0 -
hey, i got 2 tickets by email to see hallam foe, and in the small print it says to turn up early to avoid disappointment - if it's scheduled to start at 6:20, what time should i arrive to "avoid disappointment"? thanks!0

Tickets often say to arrive half an hour earlier than the start time - e.g. 6pm for 6.30pm or 10am for 10.30am so I'd say at least half an hour before the film starts. Having said that, you never know how busy (or not) a screening's going to be, so there's still an elelment of luck involved. You can turn up right on time to an empty screen or an hour before and be turned away.0 -
Does anyone know what the chances are of new tickets for 3:10 Yuma?0
